The Corvallis Daytime Drop-in Center (CDDC) is a building located in downtown Corvallis that provides essential services for the houseless community. I began volunteering at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. After three years of developing meaningful relationships with impoverished folks and other activists, I wanted to give my thanks back to the CDDC. For my senior project, I gave their brand identity a much needed refresh and produced a variety of deliverables including leaflets, posters, and business cards.

After three years of developing meaningful relationships with impoverished folks and other activists, I wanted to give my thanks back to the CDDC. For my senior project, I gave their brand identity a much needed refresh and produced a variety of deliverables including leaflets, posters, and business cards.

The CDDC is a resource hub where folks are able to receive basic needs assistance without judgement. While developing the refreshed brand and deliverables, I focused on what was already working well with their communication and what could be improved upon. My main goal was to create messaging that is transparent, straightforward, and easy to understand.

I created a series of posters, brochures, business cards, and t-shirts for the CDDC that succeeded in conveying their message of being an inclusive, welcoming, and warm space.

As a stretch goal, I also redesigned their website with the updated branding and information.

On June 9 2023, I presented all my deliverables during the Oregon State University Graphic Design Senior Showcase in Portland, Oregon.
